Jim Williams' career in the medical field spanned 42 years, mostly with Du Pont Canada. Upon retirement in 1995, Jim has been active in the South Surrey community. He is a founding Board member of the White Rock South Surrey Community Foundation and has also served in served as a Board member with the Community of Lights Events Society, the Spirit of the Sea Festival, the Community Aid Society and the White Rock Hospice Society. Jim received the Golden Jubilee Medal of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the community.
