Community Initiatives Supported by the
White Rock South Surrey Community Foundation
The White Rock/South Surrey Foundation is currently working in partnership with the Peace Arch Hospital & Community Foundation and the City of White Rock to bring a new wellness centre to the community. This facility will enhance the Mel Edwards Cardiac Rehab Centre, which was also originally funded by the Foundation.
As our population ages, developing a facility to better care for their needs will become even more important to ensure a healthier community. Reducing pressure on the medical system by encouraging proper preventative care is just one of the Foundation's endeavours.
